It was a blustery Sunday morning in Cobh with the sun shining down on us. This was the second U12 ‘Go Games blitz to be held.  Teams involved were Carrigtwohill, Cobh, Sarsfields, St.Catherines.

Our first match was against Cobh.  Great enthusiasm was showed and good skills shown. Unfortunately Nicole Horgan suffered an injury and missed the rest of the blitz.  Get well soon Nicole !
Match 2 and 3 against two Sars teams, again great skills shown with great determination.

Well done to all girls to attended on the day and thank you to Julie Foley who was the Carrigtwohill referee on the day.
Our next blitz will be held in Carrigtwohill 22nd May.

Go Games at Sarsfield Under 12 Blitz  on 9th April 2011

Team Players: Niamh Boland, Aoife Dalton, Ciara O Gorman, Nicole Horgan, Miriam Curtin, Susan Higgins, Taylor Lane, Niamh O Mahony, Olivia Roche, Clodagh O Flynn, Sophie Dixey, Grace Willcock, Lorraine Keegan,  Laoise Coughlan, Sarah O Neill, Sarah Reardan.

Sarah O'Neill & Ciara O'Gorman captained the teams on the day and did a great job.  The Blitz was very well run.  All girls got a game.  All girls played excellent.  Teams skills were very prominent here, with the girls all working very well together.
