All roads led to Ballymacoda on Sunday morning for Carrigtwohill. We played our 4th match in the Under 16s League on Sunday. We were playing against a strong breeze in the first half. It took us approximately 10 minutes to settle into the game, in that time Fr O Neills had made a good start having scored a goal. Carrigtwohill took control in the second half scoring 3 goals, with a strong breeze in the their favour, Carrig drove on taking their advantage. Fr O Neills fought hard thoughout, scoring a late point. Well done to all girls that played on the day. A fantastic team performance put us in a great position after a slow start to the League. We are now in a good position to make the quarter finals.

Carrigtwohill played there 3rd match in U16 league verus Mallow and collected another 2 points after a tough battle. There was nothing between the sides for long periods in this match a goal 5 mins from the end was the difference between the teams. It was a great match from a spectator view, but not for a coach well done again girls on another great team performance.

On the 8th of April Carrigtwohill played a hard match in the 16B league. It was nick and tuck all the way, from start to finish. Carrigtwohill ran out winners and collected 2 points; it was a great team performance on the night. Sli rua are a very good team and it took a massive effort from the girls to come through this well done to all girls who played on the night.

Hi all welcome to a new season of Camogie. The Under 16s started the new season off with the 16B League, having moved up 2 grades this year. It is going to be a tough year, with 4 girls on the age and the rest of the panel under age this year.
It was a brilliant performance, the match started at a blistering pace, playing with the wind in the 1st half. Carrigtwohill owned the 1st 20 minutes having only scored a point (unlucky not to score a goal). Bishopstown came into the match in the last 10 minutes before half time scoring a goal and a point.

Second half was nick & tuck with both sides missing chances. Carrigtwohill fought hard all the way till the final whistle and can take great heart from this excellent performance. Well done to all who played on the night. Mike & Debra
