Poc Fada
The annual Poc Fada will take place on Tuesday December 27th. Those taking part in the players and veterans categories must assemble at Tattan's Pub at 10.30. The camogie and juvenile competitions will start at Whelan's Cross, also at 10.30. The entry fee for the adult competitions is €10 per person with the proceeds going to the players' Holiday Fund. Prizes will be presented later in Guilder's Bar where Hell for Leather will be playing from 5 pm.

Best of luck to Mary, Amy and Chloe who are due to embark on another amazing chapter in their lives as they jet off to leave us for the slightly warmer part of the world called Singapore. We cannot put into words how much everyone is going to miss ye! Ye have brought so much to this club and Carrigtwohill community since ye returned to us! We hope ye keep the Carrigtwohill flag flying for us there!! Keep us updated and you never now if your organizational skills have rubbed off on us we might even see ye over there for the mini 7s competition We’ll be waiting for your return and maybe we might have mother and two daughters all playing on the same team! A big thank you to all involved in the GAA camp. A great time was had by all and it couldn’t have been done without everyone’s help and support (that includes the Mams, Dads, Aunts and Uncles who made the lunches and were on taxi duty for the week ).


Junior -The first round of the championship didn’t get off to a good start last Tuesday the 19th in Carrigtwohill pitch. It was the third meeting with this Fermoy side and with 5 of the starting team out due to injury Carrig knew they had a tough battle ahead. ........... click for more

U12 - Carrigtwohill were to meet Lisgoold in the league final for the plate on Monday evening June 20th. Playing conditions were far from ideal on what had been a day of very heavy rain however both sides togged out undeterred by the challenge posed by the Irish weather!  ..........click for more

U10 - We all gathered in carrig at 11.15am excited at the thought of another game with home advantage to us!!  Carrig were playing against the wind in the first half resulting in Glanmire scoring some early goals in first half.  .......click for more

 

Registration
Registration for the new season is now due and registration fees are as follows:
U10 - €30
U12, U14, U16, Minor - €45
Junior - €60

Registration forms will be available at training.  The code of ethics and the code of conduct forms will also need to be signed.  Both are available to view on the website.

Gum Shields - As stated in the insurance form, gum shields are now compulsory for all teams. If a claim is made for dental treatment and no gum shield was worn the insurance company will not pay out same.

Training

Training: Training for Juniors has started back.  We are lucky again this year to be able to avail of the all-weather pitch on Wednesday nights at 7.15pm.  Please bring €3.00 for use of this excellent facility.  Training also takes place on Friday evenings.
U16, Minor and Juniors will all train together again this year.  If for any reason you cannot attend training please notify manager/trainer.
